JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE is extremely limited in production and about 80% of each year’s crop went to only Japan for 10+ years! But after a long and dedicated process, we are now (blessed to say) responsible for that 80%. As coffee connoisseurs, our desire to share what is billed as the “Rolls-Royce of coffees” was strong after our travels to Japan and having a taste of it. We became obsessed. We wanted to share it with everyone we knew back in the States.

As we have mentioned, these beans are extremely labor-intensive to produce, needing to be handpicked from the mountain slopes. The high elevation, cool temperatures, and volcanic soil help result in a harvest that takes nearly 10 months, which is much longer than that of other coffee-growing regions.
We fell in love with the story and process of the making of the coffee.
