Editorial Principles

How we cover the community.

1. Local over generic.: We name the street, the neighborhood, the owner. Specific beats vague — every time.
2. A trusted neighbor, not a tourism brochure.: Real names, real places, plain language. No hype, no recycled press releases.
3. Two editions, one standard.: The English and Korean sites are separate editions, not mirror translations. Each is curated for the audience that reads it, with the same care for accuracy and tone.
4. A clear line between editorial and sponsorship.: Display ads, partner shelves, and sponsored modules are visibly labeled. The editorial calendar — what we cover, when, and how — isn’t for sale.
5. Comprehensive directory, curated magazine.: The business directory aims to list every Korean-owned business in metro Atlanta we can verify. The magazine picks the small subset with a story worth telling this week. Different goals, different bars.
6. The community runs its own corners.: Our community board, marketplace, and job listings are written by readers — not by editors. We moderate, we don’t author.
